This page lists this year's LCW&J Tournaments. A quick summary of the results is available for each tournament. To view the complete results, please see the photo of the tournament spreadsheet in the corresponding slideshow of images.
Lake McDonough - 4.23.17 - 8:30 - 4:30
What a tough tournament! 18 boats with no bags over 10 lbs! Mike Shimels & George MacDonald took home the first tournament of the season with a 9.27lb bag. Billy Slavis and Mike Wolford end up a close second with 9.14. Jon Puhalski and Kevin Hart took 3rd and lunker. Our Tournament director will crunch the numbers, and complete results (including point totals) will be available at a later date.
Otis Reservoir - 5.20.17 - 7am-3pm
* Saturday
Joel Lackey and Ken Pratt took home first place with a 13.23 lb bag of largies. Their largest bass won lunker as well at 3.89 lbs. Newcomers, Jim Young and Marc Lampkin took 2nd place with 10.96 lbs. Mike Shimels and George MacDonald finished 3rd with 9.83. Interesting to note; 9th place was only 1.13 lbs behind 3rd. A lot of teams were real close to taking home some $.
Lake Lillinonah - 6.11.17 - 6am-3pm
SUMMARY: Tough tournament. I blame immediate post-spawn funk. Billy Slavis and Mike Wolford take 1st place with 8.92lbs. John and Gary take 2nd, while the Tomasini's round out 3rd place. Lunker went to Rob and Nate with a 3.29 largie.
Onota Lake (Mass) - 6.18.17 - 7am-3pm
SUMMARY: Jim Young and Marc Lampkin blew it out of the park with a dominating 15.38 lbs. 2nd place went to the Tomasini's with 11 plus while Mike and George took 3rd with 6.83. Jim and Marc also took home lunker with a 4.71 largie.
Candlewood (Squantz)- 7.12.17 - 7am-3pm
* Wednesday
SUMMARY: Bob & Rich Tomasini took care of business on their home turf racking up 13.84 lbs of bass. Nate & Rob took 2nd place with 12.29, while Jim & Marc rounded out 3rd place with 11.38. Tournament lunker was caught by John & Kevin. There's a photo to the left of Kevin and his 5.45 lb largemouth bass.
CT River (Salmon) - 7.30.17 - 6am-2pm
SUMMARY: Congrats to Ryan & Dave for their first LCW&J win in their first year with the club! They put together a 11.50lb bag to take 1st. 2nd place and lunker went to Jon & Kevin. Their lunker largemouth went 3.49 and their total weight was 10.37lbs. 3rd place went to Mike & George with 7.44lbs.
Twin Lakes - 8.13.17 - 6am-3pm
SUMMARY: A close race at the top with Jon & Kevin taking first place. They weighed in 11.46 lbs while Billy & Mike took 2nd with 11.06 lbs. 3rd place went to Rob & Nate with 10.61 lbs of largies. Lunker went to Ernie & Adrian with a 3.55 lb largemouth. The 'Team of the Year' race is getting a little closer. Currently the Tomasini's are in first with 676 points. Mike & George are in second with 669 pts, while Billy & Mike have 3rd with 667 pts.
Lake Champlain 2-day Classic - 9.2.17-9.3.17
FULL RESULTS DAY 1 DAY 2 & FINAL RESULTS
SUMMARY: Bruce and Chip held on to win the biggest tournament of the year - Congrats! After 17.71 lbs to lead day 1, Bruce and Chip held on to beat Joel and Ken by only a few ounces! 32.96 lbs was their 2-day weight, while Joel and Ken had 32.79 lbs. Mike and George took third with 31.32 lbs. Bruce had day 1 lunker with a 5.61 largie. Day 2 lunker went to Mike and George with a 4.81 largie. John and Gary had the largest 1-day bag with 19.35 lbs on day 2 giving them enough for 4th place overall.
Highland Lake - 9.17.17 - 7am-3pm
SUMMARY: Mike and George took 1st place, Tomasini's took 2nd and Billy and Mike grabbed 3rd. With 1 tournament left, the Tomasini's have a 4 point lead over Mike and George. See the full year-to-date standings by clicking the button at the top of the page.
Candlewood (Squantz)- 10.22.17 -730am-330pm
SUMMARY: The Father and Son duo of Rich Tomasini and Bobby Tomasini win Team of the Year by taking first place in the last tournament! Congratulations! 19.65 lbs of smallies got the job done easily by besting Joel and Ken, who took 2nd place with 13.86 lbs. Rounding out 3rd was Mike and George with 13.38 lbs. Joel and Ken caught lunker with a 5.30 largie.
