What a rough day with the rain and cold. Is it really May?!
Well the gauntlet has been dropped with Kevin Hart catching a 6.16 lb LM last tournament and Bill Ponte with a 4.47 SM. The race is one to see who can beat only one of those.
Twin Lakes
6/03/18 - 6am-3pm
Tomasini boys pull out a win in the last minutes of the day with a 5.05 Large mouth. Wind was blowing everyone around but didn't stop an active fishing pattern especially for the rock bass. Bruce and Gary took Jack with a large turtle caught on a frog!!!
Lake Lillinonah

Lilly proved to be a challenging day for most. While some found success in the weeds and wood, others where able to pull out some late spawners.
The sun was high and the bass where finicky, but the Tomasini boys pulled out another win. Runners up and a big congrats to Jon and Kevin for a 2nd place win and Chip & Ed with a strong 3rd. Once again Kevin Hart takes big fish of the day with a 5.07 lb Large mouth begging the question, What the heck is he doing in the back of that boat.

FULL RESULTS
Good day for most with 5 teams hitting the 15 lb plus range. Congratulation to Joel and Ken for the win with 18.40 lbs. Mike and George take second and Bruce and Gary pull out a third place win. The weather couldn't have been better and the wind started to pick-up a little in the afternoon. Overall great day on the lake!!!!

Just like the postal service, Nor wind or rain will keep the guys at home!! The rain came down and the wind did blow. Fish where scattered but some pulled out some nice fish. Congrats to Mike and George for pulling out the win with a giant 4.59 Lg for a total for 13.37. Runners up are Jon and Kevin with second and Brian with Mike for third. Congratulations guys way to dig it out in the bath tube.

Tough day for some and for others not so tough. Threat of rain most of the day with the sun breaking through for a shot time in the afternoon only to give way to rain for the last hour of the day.
Congratulations to the Tomasini's for a giant bag of 16.11 with a 5.69 Lunker. Joel and Ken with a strong second and rounding up the top 3 is Billy and Mike. Congratulations guys, you most certainly deseave it.

FULL RESULTS DAY 1 DAY 2 & FINAL RESULTS
SUMMARY: What a great way to finish the Classic!! Weather wasn't bad but the wind changing direction from day to day didn't stop the bit from happening. After day one Mike and George had a 3lb lead with a big bag of Smallies ( who would have guessed that). The rest of the field was pretty tight with 5 teams less then 0.5 lbs of separation. Day two, The Tomasini's gave Mike a run for the Money with the second biggest bag of the tournament, but came up only 0.5 lbs out. Congratulations to Mike and George for the win with Bobby and Rich taking 2nd, Billy and Mike for 3rd and Jon with Rob taking 4th.. Great time and if you get a chance ask Billy S about his pet squirrel.. LMAO.
CT River
Salmon River Launch

SUMMARY: Tough day on the river today. It was hard to come in with a limit, never the less a good bag. But Mike and George where able to find them with the win and Jon with Kevin close behind. Chipper and Ed rounding out the top 3. Congratulation on such a tough day, you guys earned it!!
Highland

FULL RESULTS
SUMMARY: For some it was a tough day and for others, well not so much. Teams either had more then 10 lb bags or less then 6. It was that kinda day. Congratulations to the Tomasini boys with another win and Bobby taking the SM mouth of the year lead. Second was Rob Killeen getting it done as a single, Great job... And rounding up the top 3 was Mike and George. Great job guys.
Candlewood Lake

SUMMARY: What a great year. Candlewood was a little tough but some guys found a boat load of smallies and others green back. Congratulations for the Tomosini's as they win their 5th tournament of the year. Great job guys. Mike and George take second and Bruce and Gary round out the top 3. Great day and awesome year.
